That’s what a fairly well known UK retailer has down for it anyway, with retailer Littlewoods listing the upcoming Wii U racer as coming out in April 25th 2014. But is this accurate? Is there any good reason to believe them? Well read on and you’ll find out…
No really. Despite this being the age of worldwide release dates, Nintendo not delaying most of their games for months on end and digital distribution, only Europe is affected by Mario Party Island Tour’s delay until 2014. In the US it’s coming on November 22nd, Japan sometime during the holiday season and other countries will get it on similar dates.
Remember Mario Party 10/3DS, the new 3DS exclusive Mario Party game that was announced at a Nintendo Direct early this year? The one which I even feared had fell off the radar altogether due to the complete lack of information about it? Well it seems like we’ve finally got some new information about it, including the box art, release date and even things like official artwork. So the information drought is now over! First of all, the release date. This game will be released in the US on November 22nd 2013, and just November 2013 in other regions. Secondly, here’s the box art: Which looks pretty good if I say so myself. Finally, here’s some artwork of the game, which […]
Excited for the Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds and what to know when it’ll go on sale? Well Nintendo of America has announced that the game will be released on November 22nd, and that this below will be the game’s official box art: Honestly, I have to say this box design looks really, really good. Indeed, the gold and the sunlit forest effect already kind of makes me want to buy the game there and then. And the November 22nd release date is nice to know too, although it being released at the same time as Super Mario 3D World might not be a good idea. So what do you think? Do you like the box art for […]
Or more accurately, as a title released partway through the year instead of in the Autumn with the other major games for the system? I definitely think so, and do you know why? Because at this moment in time, the Wii U doesn’t need this type of game. Are remakes/ports good sometimes? Yes. But they’re best saved for a time in which a console needs to sell a few million more units quickly but doesn’t have any other big selling points to keep it going. Like how on the 3DS, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time was released during June of 2012. Or how one of the very first titles for the original DS was Super Mario 64 DS […]
Oh wow, this is a pleasant surprise isn’t it? Yes, it’s been announced at today’s Nintendo Direct presentation that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney will be released in Europe in early 2014. There’s also a trailer for the game, which can be seen here: So, are you excited for this? Happy that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney is finally being released outside of Japan in the near future?
Well, this sucks. It was supposed to hit the European eShop this Thursday (aka the 1st of August 2013), but Nintendo of Europe have delayed the game’s release date to an unknown date. Here’s their reasoning for the delay: We regret to announce that #Flipnote Studio 3D will be delayed in Europe, as we try to provide the best possible service. (1/2) — Nintendo UK (@NintendoUK) July 30, 2013 …We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to announce a new #Flipnote Studio 3D launch date as soon as possible. (2/2) — Nintendo UK (@NintendoUK) July 30, 2013 So it looks like FlipNote Studio 3D won’t be released in Europe this week, and will be delayed until some time in […]
Yes, you heard that right, Nintendo of Europe have officially confirmed on their website page for the game. So it’s just under a week left for European fans if they want to get FlipNote Studio 3D! Are you excited for it? Will you be downloading it on August 1st? Source: http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-3DS-download-software/Flipnote-Studio-3D-763095.html
Well, it’s an app that a lot of 3DS owners have been waiting for, and now Nintendo’s official site for the game has confirmed it’s going to be released in the US sometime in early August. Here’s what the site says about the game: Publisher: Nintendo Release Date: Early August, 2013 Price: Flipnote Studio™ 3D is a free application. This application includes two community services. No idea what early August 2013 specifically means (1st of August? 2nd of August? Some vague time before the 15th or so?), but it seems like you won’t have to wait too long to use FlipNote Studio 3D. Are you excited for this? Source: http://flipnotestudio3d.nintendo.com/
Yep, at least one retailer has dispatched it to their customers already, as can be seen by this topic: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/704054-mario-and-luigi-dream-team/66684256 Here’s a picture showing their Mario & Luigi Dream Team game/box and their username right next to it for proof: So if you’re in Europe and want to see if you can get the game early, try and go through either http://www.flubit.com/ or http://graingergames.co.uk/today, since those are the companies involved in this early release fiasco.
