The 3DS is doing pretty well (outdoes sales of older Nintendo consoles)

It’s apparently outsold the Gamecube in lifetime sales despite only being out about a year or two, has sold 2/3 of the amount the Nintendo 64 did over its lifetime and about half of the total sales of the SNES.
So if anyone worries the console has failed, consider both the above and how it’s comparatively outsold its predecessor in the same time frame. Looks like the 3DS console has nothing to worry about!
